Newsletter Statement of Purpose
The purpose of the NURC Newsletter is to:
1. Highlight/Document the momentum of the movement.
2. Help us stay in contact and up to date about what’s going on at other stations.
3. Serve as motivation for those who want to be apart of the movement.-Exciting info about the fun side of NURC to provide at major and local events.
4. Possibly promote contributors/supporters of NURC.- A means to successfully promote those who promote us.
5. Perpetuate the existence and progress of NURC- This provides a visual representation of not only who we are now but our potential to grow into the future.
6. Will promote the website.
7. Provide a means to advertise NURC paraphernalia for future purchasing.-Order forms will be included within the Newsletter to purchase clothing and other accessories as they become available.
8. Help Conductors stay focused- NURC’s 10pt Plan and Mission Statement will always be displayed in every issue. Examples of how we are acting on each one will help us to stay on point and serve as a constant reminder of who we are.

Message from our Historian Conductor
Please forward any pictures, flyers, school newspaper articles, reflections, written recaps of past local and or national NURC events and any other information that you would like to send about NURC happenings that occured anytime between September 2005 - July 2006. You do not have to send info on every single event but please send as much as you can as the totality of what you send will be preserved in the NURC Archives but will be edited and put into the Newsletter. Make sure that you include your name & contact info, your schools name/location and that the event(s) name/date is written directly in the e-mail. If you would like to send something by regular mail please contact me via e-mail (JNEWELL82@yahoo.com) for the proper address. If you would like to be on the NURC Newsletter Designing Committee please contact me by the address listed above or by phone ASAP.
Archives
Important documents, such as chartering/petitioning forms, newspaper articles, corresspondence, contracts, databases, membership records/forms, chapter records/forms, proposals, and documentation, pictures, flyers, artwork, poetry of past and future events are now being collected. This information is very important and must be preserved to document our progress and growth. The history of NURC is very rich but hard to proove without any hard documentation. By contributing to our Archives you are ensuring that the short term and long term memories of NURC stays as complete as possible. Send information to NURC.Griot@yahoo.com. If you need to send anything by regular mail send an e-mail to get the proper street address first.
